Mr. Elbagoury is currently a Member of the Advisory Council of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE, USA), Member of the Board of Directors at the (ACFE, Egypt Chapter), Vice Chairman of the Governance Committee at the Egyptian Compliance Society (ECS, Egypt).
He has collaborated on industry standards development, including the International Fraud Handbook, and the GRC Capability Model.
Mr. Elbagoury has extensive experience as Chief Audit Executive and Chief GRC Officer for leading organizations in KSA, UAE, and Egypt. He began his career as an external auditor at a Big 4 firm, later advancing to senior leadership in risk advisory.
He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).

Mr Gendy serve as the Chief Audit Executive for the Ajman Government, where I lead internal audit strategy, align our activities with key organizational goals, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders. A key aspect of my role has always been about developing my team—ensuring that each auditor is equipped to perform at the highest standards.
Beyond my professional roles, I have also contributed to the academic and professional development of others through my work as a lecturer with the Emirati Association for Accountants and Auditors. I teach courses on international auditing and financial reporting, and I am committed to mentoring aspiring professionals in the field.
